What’s the process of becoming a speaker?

We’re committed to being a movement-based conference. Organizers will send out invitations between April and August to most speakers. We want to do something new, too. We will also be seeking speaker recommendations from the general public.

What’s the format? Are there tracks?

AMP18 will have a main stage for keynote speakers and panel discussions, as well as breakout sessions in rooms adjacent to the main ballroom. Each item on our program will be categorized in one of three categories: politics, policy, or culture.

In addition to speakers on our main stage and in our breakout sessions, we plan to have select sponsoring exhibitors, a media row, book signings, and training sessions to better equip activists to go back into their communities.

Is The American Priority Conference a safe space?

The American Priority Conference seeks to provide a physically secure space for its participants. However, the conference will not be a “safe space” from competing viewpoints. We will host a myriad of thought and actively encourage debate and discussions. We want participants to be challenged and grow.

Who is or isn’t allowed?

We welcome all Americans who want to “make America great again.” We refuse to play the media’s rules that a speaker should be barred and disavowed because their views don’t subscribe to group think, are considered controversial, or have said a gaffe in the past.

Our conference seeks to promote a dialogue about advancing the “America First” agenda, an inclusive set of ideas that does not disparage any person or group because of their race, gender, sexual orientation, ability, or religion. However, we welcome controversial thoughts in the marketplace of ideas and may host speakers that we or many participants disagree with on panels. The American Priority Conference does not endorse the entire contents or totality of any participant.

We work as a single united front, aligning our beliefs, thoughts and ideas to enhance our goal.
